Interesting places on the Norfolk Broads

  • How Hill - Environmental centre, gardens with plenty of open space for children to run round, lovely views, tearooms, dog friendly and situated on the river with free mooring.

  • Museum of the Broads - Tells the story of the broads from the Vikings!

  • Horsey Wind Pump - Open to the public and gives us a captivating glimpse of working life on the broads in the early part of 20th century.

  • Ranworth Nature reserve - A great place to bird watch and walk along the board-walk out to the small floating visitors centre. You can moor at Malthouse Broad.

  • Potter Heigham Bridge - Not to be missed when on the Norfolk Broads, it’s thought to date back to 1385 , hold your nerve as you shoot under the bridge and look up to see the medieval craftsmanship!
